hey my dear frenz!!!!
i finally have free internet n available computer at my accom for me to blog! haha! im in rome now n it's 8.35am here! im 6 hrs behind u guys in singapore!
my stupid cam is spoilt so i have no photos with me to put up.. all the photos with cheryl so will show u guys when i get back =(
took qatar airways which is super nice! transited once so on the 2 planes i took, there were 2 meals each haha so altogether 4 meals! n the meals were delicious!
was in france 1st - paris for 3 days then lyon for 1 day then nice for 2 days... france was gd just tt some of the french r not very frenly... of course we met some nice ones but i would think the ratio of evil to frenly french is 6:4 hahah! maybe cos we dun speak french... the worst was this waiter in lyon who took quite some time to understand tt the 3 of us wanted to share 2 menus(each menu had entree, maincourse n dessert so it's alot!), n when he finally understood, he rolled his eyes many many times at us! so we juz left.. which was quite sad cos lyon is supposed to be the gastronomical city of fra but we din managed to try any! =(
then we went to italy! was in milan for a couple of hrs then florence for 2 days then rome... generally italians r frenlier! n more of them can speak english! so we were quite happy haha n the stuff here r generally cheaper too! like icecream!!!! i have been eating lots of nice icecream! hahah! it's usu 2 euros for a scoop but sometimes we share 3 scoops (3.50euros) haha so it's cheaper haha n the pizza here is nice!!! not those sit down eat kind but can takeaway kind so they cut up into rectangles n fold it up n weigh it n charge u by weight! it was cheap n delicious! the crust is those thin kind haha but the pasta i have tried so far r not nice so i have sworn of pasta currently haha oh n it's sunny in rome! not like in fra n florence where it was always raining!
