weekend!
hi guys! did you read the straits times today? in the saturday supplement on uni admission, it was mentioned that being outstanding in our JC is just average, and that it is officially an 'Ivy League Machine' as it is the high school that sends the most number of students to ivy leagues schools. I was quite floored, I didn't know our JC tops even that ranking...
by the way, i'm taking a community service module this semester. The lecturer talks about a lot of stuff, like discrimination in society. He was discussing the job market recently and feels that the biotechnology sector is hot (and high paying). Sadly, in my biotech module this sem, the class did quite badly for the CA. Total marks 30, highest 28, lowest 12, average 21. The biotech lecturer was a little puzzled, he thought the questions weren't that difficult, and feels that a score below 20 is not very good. That would be about 50% of the class!!!
swe's pics are quite nice! do post more :)
my last paper is on 9th may, but i have my 6 week attachment at a hospital during the hols. hope we can meet up, after swe is back!
