back again!

hi guys! i just got back from ipoh! the food is really much cheaper there. my family and i went with our neighbours who have relatives there. basically an eating and shopping trip.
i ate so much cake from secret recipe as the outlet was in the hotel building and it's so much cheaper than in singapore!!! a slice costs S$5 in singapore i believe but in malaysia it cost RM5.30!!! which is half price cuz of the exchange rate! ok in malaysia they tack on 10% service charge and 5% tax on top of that price so it's about RM6 for dine in and below that (as there's no 10% service charge then) for take away. but it's still half price! and the slices seem taller in ipoh! and the variety was amazing. the display counter was filled with cakes of diff kinds and i just salivated at it...
remember that time we had a pig out at secret recipe? i was reminded of that... and there's an apple crumble cheese which is very nice. it reminded me of the apple crumble we made in class in sec 1/2!
anyway, i have the world cup on scv, so if you all are interested, can watch at my place. or we can watch outside at some beach/bar/food place/giant screen...
