Final Tutorial
If u all still remember, monday is my clear-all-tutorials day. Yes. And so I m done with all my tutorials for this semester. Time flies in university? NO. I dun even sense the passing of time cos it's simply TOO FAST.
The end marks the beginning. The end of all lectures n tutorials mark the beginning of the mugging era. Haha.
Just a little update for all of u. I dint get my inter-sem, on waitlist. Well i heard the precious places are reserved for the seniors who wanna clear their modules so that they can graduate in time. Haha for freshies (yes i wont be called that for much longer), we juz gonna be gracious and let the seniors take the limited places in special sem. :p
And so.. i tink i m juz gonna give up on this inter sem thingy (dun wanna wait hopefully for someone to give up the place for me) and LOOK FOR A JOB.
Cash straped already. After 2 semesters. hee.
Coincidentally i received an email today:
Do you want to gain some valuable accounting experience during your coming vacation?
The Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports (MCYS) wants you.
You will assist in the financial year-end closing from 8th May 2006 to 30 June/mid July 2006. You will have to be able to understand accounting concepts and perform simple book-keeping functions e.g. debit and credit entries, fixed assets register, balance sheet, income and expenditure statements. You must also be conversant with MS Office (EXCEL, MS Word, & Powerpoint).
You will be offered $64/day before CPF deduction.
Ahha the that's the super incentive, the KEY.
