Back from the Philippines

The village

(This is the nicer, rebuilt part of the village. The villages used to live in shanty/slums. Now they have strong, stable concrete homes.

However, not the whole village has been fully developed. Some of the villagers still live in slums which are essentially wood planks and metal plates.

I dun have the pics of the slums...Will update...)

The room I "colonised"together with another female companion The hosts were so so so nice.

They gave up their room for us and slept in the living room themselves.

The food were excellent as well. The female host even washed our clothes while we were sleeping!!

They were kind, hospitable and generous beyond words...

It was a fantastic trip. Mahal ko filipinas!!~
